Window Shopping Wonders

More often than not, an exciting new purchase is bought off a casual window shopping spree.

Yesterday while admiring the car models @ The Model Shop, Inorbit Mall [ 1st floor.. next to Bose showroom ] I noticed a keychain. It was a very special keychain though, because I was immediately teleported to a subject during Semester VI --- IC Engines.

The first succesful rotary engine known as the Wankel engine, had been idolised into a steel keychain. And the best part is.. the intricacy of manufacturing involved. There is an internal gear meshing pair which runs the 3 lobe rotor within the casing. Even the inlet and exhaust valves have been illustrated with grooves. There is a disc at the back of the keychain which when turned runs through the mechanism of the Wankel engine !!!! AWWEESOOMME.
A resplendent piece of workmanship.

It didn't take me and my dad more than half a minute to become proud owners. (one keychain each ... hahaha)
