Whats the occasion?
Today our group was presenting a case study on GE, more importantly the leadership styles and traits exhibited by the great man Jack Welch. The same individual who received a "Manager of the Century" award from Fortune magazine. The same guy who accelerated GE towards global recognition and far flung heights of excellence in business expertise.
Our OB Professor is a super one. She really is. But she's extremely particular about what she wants from us students, nothing wrong with that really. She's got every lecture organised from the first minute to the last, sometimes adding a group activity in the middle as a destressing block. And boy, she knows her stuff in and out. A few times she's stopped students midway through their PPT and told them they weren't adding value to the presentation or even to the rest of the class.
Well the point being that today we surpassed her expectations and were rewarded with an "excellent" grade. A mighty pleased ( and kicked! ) bunch of individuals are we.
