Strike-O-Convo #2

Another attempt at segmenting this blog post into a specific category. I think I had created a segment back in July this year on.. uhm.. "Strike-O-Convo". Yea, thats what it was. So far I've just managed to slot one in there. Now that's a start.
(For those interested here's a glimpse of what it came out like - Click me )

Back to this post. I was returning home today, content with the white sound buds in my ears and leaning with my back against the compartment wall when a voice next to me said, "iPod hain kya?". Glancing to my left, I saw a short dark man with a parcel in his hand peering into my next playlist. "Haan, yeh iPod hain" I said, with a smile. The power of brands. Wow. Talk about products permeating into the masses. He then surprised me with a linguistic switch which also proved to be an accurate one too.

"Yehchyaat 100 gaani astaat ka?"
"Nahi. 2000 gaani bharu shakto."

The conversation had gone further. An unexpected and welcome penetration.

"Baap re. Pushkal gaani aahe. Manje.. kitee Gb?"
"Aath. Ek gaana 4MB cha asta."
"Accha.. asa ka? ..bara ma mazha station aala ataa. Namaskar."

He neared the exit and hopped off as the train slowed down. I looked out after him. He waved as the rake pulled out.
