My Favourite Acronym

Every phase in our education timeline brings out a pack of close knit friends. My school days brought together a good gang, JC never really gave me a group but a couple of close pals yes. Degree course was a bumper prize - 7 of us stuck like glue. Then came MBA.

Test drives were a commonality during the first year. You spoke to people and found frequency matches, mismatches and disasters too. The odd yet uncannily pleasant connect found itself lingering in your space but you gave it a miss. Sometimes you regretted it. Other times you yearned for group activities.

At this juncture, the flow of the tide was strongest and smoothest when 5 of us got together. And we were all quite different in our ways. That's what made it click every time we got together. It has always been a jolly session with the 5 of us around(touchwood). Maximum mazaa with returns on long term associations. That's what I like. Each one lent a significantly valued perspective to any activity which unfolded itself amongst themselves. Most of these so called "activities" were of a jocular substance, an infallible turnout of oodles of laughter. Keeping the humour in good taste was complementary to the conversation and pulling each other's leg was welcome. When we had a drink or two together, the super times were in. I don't think I've laughed as hard or long as I have during these lunatic sittings. Sometimes I thought I'd die laughing with those tears in my eyes and my hands holding my aching sides. Once or twice I'd even collapsed to the floor.

Coming to a more recent and popular activity (and one that was definitely mroe beneficial), we realised that our institute's representation at the Mumbai Marathon was dominated by none other than 5 of us. Haha and we only realised this once the snap was taken.

Cheers to.. MAAKA.
