Started a book. Will talk about it when I'm done. I'm sure many have read it, judging by it's popularity. I've got to get back to my reading days. I really must. It's been too long. Way too long. So that's that.
I realised how diligently the office boy places on my desk, that too with an immaculate periodicity I might add, the hard paper cups of coffee. I sit at my desk at 8.50am and there he is. He knows I need it. Without my asking for it. The next comes at a good time before the lunch drive starts. I never notice his arrival. He comes in, cup in right hand, walks right past with the perfect placement at a hands reach away. Post lunch, around 3pm or so, he's back again. This time, he waits for a visual approval. And then once more, an hour before I leave for the day. How crucial this bracketed delivery is can only coincide with your parallel scenes at work.
Mumbai has small roads which make traffic conditions far more intense that most other cities. We need to be patient in such situations. Or, we scramble for other transport options at the hint of a gridlock. Exactly where the winning scenario begins. Be on the move. Switch 2-3 modes of transports and the advantage is yours. Stop cursing everything. Get going. Multiply the advantage if your modes include travel by train. Nothing faster than that.
Respect your rivals. Intensifies the competitive nature & helps carve inroads into fertile territory. One that will hopefully, better the output for the same move committed by foes. And live with the results - positive or negative. Never forget the mistakes. Only savour the 'chanced success' momentarily because the big payoff is always one step ahead.
Back to my book.
