Paradise @ Dine Hill

Going forward from the last post, PM was my guide for this day in Hyderabad.

The flight landed at Rajiv Gandhi International airport, an impressively executed GMR project. Spacious with a themed kind of look with the truss like structure and glass body.

Zeroed in on the guest house and then had a late lunch. Met a few SIMSR'ites - it was a great session at Barista from 5pm to 7pm. Headed back to the guest house where PM was ready and waiting for the feast outing.

We headed to Dine Hill, a restaurant placed on the main road just a little off Masab Tank junction (for the shopaholics, it's 300m to the right of Ashoka Metropolitan mall). Run by a middle aged Muslim chap, PM told me the joint has been around for 20 odd years. He was introduced to this place by a colleague at ICL and the first visit had resulted in many more similar and content outings.

Well the Grilled Chicken and rumali combo rocked. With it, we ordered for a mutton biryani and complemented the food with a Diet Coke each. I guess that's the done thing at this joint. Everyone had a Diet Coke next to their thaal. To make the meal even more spectacular - a garlic paste, biryani curry and curd were the add-ons.

I'm happily full. Not stuffed mind you. A good night's sleep comin up. Thanks PM.
Hyderabad was good today.

Training session tomorrow in the AP office. And then depart for Bhu at 4.30pm.
(oh yea, the pilot crafted an unbelievably smooth landing at Hyd airport today - felt like we floated onto the tarmac )
