Zoo of Bhu

...Nandan Kanan in entirety.

Merely 15 bucks for the entry ticket. Dirt cheap I concur. I went there this past weekend with AC, a colleague who'd been wanting to go since ages. No one was interested except the two of us.

Somehow, my experience of Kanha (a reserve in MP) last May was still lingering. The ease with which I got to see animals here was very pleasing until it sunk in that, yes, well, it was a zoo. Spotting wildlife elements in wide open spaces or plains is something in itself. Either way, the outing was fun. With glee and kid-like enthusiasm, we roamed the 4 segments of the park and explored almost everything it had to offer.

Being overcast helped in many ways, cutting back on fatigue for one. We tried mapping our route and stuff, it didn't really work though. I think our energy was more than enough to cover the park without much hassle. Glad we refused the offer from the guide. These guides I tell you. Yap yap. Hmmm...

It was great fun. Awesome. I don't remember the last time I'd been to a zoo. But it sure was swell yesterday.

...I'd never seen a vulture to date. Yea, the big black bird down the list. Big bird.
