Finally.
After a long 2 weeks, the basic things are ALMOST in place. The temp clothesline doesn't look like it'll support for too long so I've 'requested' the local electrician to come by.
Society bound helpers (plumbers/electricians/odd job chaps) are quite a convenience. Mr Ghose (yes, that's how you spell it), an elderly chap who lives with his wife is our neighbour who provided us with the contact. A helpful chap, judging by his proactive measure to speak to Surprakash on our behalf to get a few things done for the electricals.
It's like a big checklist, this entire home setup business - ticking off each item one by one or putting % completion figures next to each and reviewing it on a periodic basis. Then prioritise the critical tasks,push for those first up and get necessary resources to take it past the finish line.
