Today, these Maruti Sales guys came over with a Merwans cake to congratulate me on my [our avoided intentionally!] recent purchase of the Suzuki Swift. Yup, a pleasant surprise it was and I'm very impressed with their customer care ideologies.
After all, Maruti has been standing proud at the top spot for Customer Satisfaction in the Automotive sector for the 6th consecutive year, which happens to be a record.
Way to go Maruti !!

btw, just as an aside, did u know that the maruti 800 was originally conceptualized by the Gandhi family (Rajiv/ Sanjay Gandhi.. one of the two) as a car that would be afforded by 'everyone.' (well, almost everyone!) It was to be priced way within a lakh!!! but then once he died, the project got shelved and Maruti 800, the 'budget' car is what, 2.5 now?
