Hi...been busy with some errands and other things...
A close friend left for Australia, this past Sunday. Until he disappeared beyond the terminal gate it didn't really sink in. It's always like that. At least in my case. To tell you the truth, I still can't seem to acknowledge it. Anyway, he's coming down in November for a wedding in the family. That's not too far.
Moving over now.. the magic of a manual camera is something completely extradordinary. Digicams are seen in plenty, but nah.. the old ones rock. Recently was trying my hand at the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D SLR ---- simply fantastic. Millions of features embedded in it too. Tried on various lenses on the body, I'm getting more knowledgable in this subject and loving it.
To start with, the three BASIC parameters - aperture, shutter speed and ISO speed. But there's a lot more waiting on a manual, even after discounting an SLR tag.
My current fascination lies with the "depth of field" funda. It brings out a 3D effect of the subject ; one that potrays the work of a professional. Looks solid too.
