Networking is very much the in-thing these days. All big corporates have their offices installed with the latest Wireless LANs and WAP's secured all over the site.
Coming from a Mechanical background, this domain was somewhat awkward to step into .. at one point. But its superb stuff. Maybe the guy who's teaching me puts it across well, maybe its the subject itself which is appealing.. I dont know.
IP addressing, subnetting and the like .... it's quite an amazing funda.
Any Comps/IT guys who dont know this stuff I pity you.
