I'm a little late considering that the match between SA vs AUS held recently has been widely discussed and most likely dismissed already. After having seen the telecast this evening, I don't think its the best ODI ever quoted by commentators on that day.
It is without a doubt, the best RUN CHASE we've witnessed ; I strongly doubt anyone will get to see a similar matchup for the century.
But when one talks of the "best ODI match", we're talking of all departments - batting, bowling and fielding. I dont think this match displayed any great bowling performance as such and my opinion is well backed up by the fact that the pitch was a belter of a track for the batsmen.
Don't get me wrong though . . . I aint' complaining. If Australia loses a game, I'm more than content.
"Kangaroo Curry for dinner" read a banner at the game. Ha.

perfectly right, not the greatest one day match ever ,but surely the greates run chase of all times...
if we score 434 any team in this world should win it , if we cant defend it then there is surely something wrong....
for a match to be perfect it shoud have everything batting , bowling and fielding
