A Comedy Of Mishaps

Haha. Ok, everyone has their good and bad days.

I headed out for my Networking class in the morning today, all equipped with packed sandwiches and necessary books for the day. In the afternoon I usually head straight to my Pro E class but I came to know that it was cancelled. On my way home, it dawned on me that I had left my house keys lying on my desk. Now I hadn't kept a set of keys with the neighbours so I called my dad at the office and he said he'd send it over with the driver asap. Good. I'd probably have to wait out a little but that's ok. Then my dad called back in 5 min saying the driver had wandered off somewhere, leaving the situation at a standstill. That left me stranded. At 12pm. Not a time that would make you feel the least bit adventurous.

Luckily, a family friend of ours stays upstairs in the same building. I sought refuge at their place for the day.

To summarise --
  • Never make the mistake of leaving those house keys behind
  • Keep a spare with thy neighbour
  • Not much can be done if you've employed a driver who can't stay put at one place
