See The Master At Work

I wanted a book to read. Something light preferably, but captivating at the same time.

Hopped on over to the Landmark bookstore and only after I got out of there and glanced at my watch, did I realise it had been a good 2.5 hours that I spent in there.

In school we had The Hound of the Baskervilles for Rapid Reader in the 8th std. if I'm not mistaken. On seeing more of the same author, I bought myself the Sherlock Holmes' Collection, divided in two volumes -- a compendium of 56 stories and 4 novels. Last night I finished my first story, A Scandal In Bohemia which narrates ( I think ) the only time where Holmes meets his match ; from the opposite sex. Outwitted by 'the woman' is how Holmes would say of the incident. That's Irene Adler by name.
