The Mumbai -- Pune Expressway is kinda boring isn't it ? Step on the gas and float through to the destination with hardly any driving skills to showcase. Just speed and numb feet.
We had just hit the stretch ( from the Pune side ) and there we were.. cruising along at 110 kmph odd. Then I saw a small speck ahead getting bigger and bigger. A Maruti 800 was moving towards us. Pelting along on the fast track ( when you're going the right way ) and reckless in intent. Luckily, I noticed him in good time and carefully maneuvered the vehicle out of danger.
As his tires screamed past us, I caught a glimpse of the driver. Scrawny old man but guts of steel I'm sure.
Freaky to the core. * shudder *

As a frequent expressway'er, i have just 2 words to say....DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMM IT!!! now i gotta keep my eyes open on the road for freak shows like this oldy!
Dude, do you think that's bad! I drove on the Interstate Freeway between Texas and Florida at 2am. I didn't even have to step on the gas. Just keep the cruise control on 120kmh and look at an empty road with no streetlights and dull scenery.
It's idiotic- they actually made driving DULL.
