IIM Ahmedabad held its cultural fest Chaos, last week. Around 50 odd SIMSR-ites went for it, 20 of which were from my class.
Oh... and what a blast we had. Came back with a Gb's worth of pics and vids.
The campus is huge, and the trademark circular holes are seen time and again, sometimes on the dorm walls and a couple even in the subway. Subway? Yes... there's a subway now. The old campus connects to the new campus across the road via a subway. So all us guys stayed at the new campus... Dorm 20 or D20 to be precise.
Every night we slept at 5am and woke up at 8.30am to get ready for another event. Dumb charades, antakshari, Literathon, Western Solo, Mr and Ms. Chaos.. ohh it was all there.
I went and looked around my dad's old dorm room, even got a pic clicked 'new look.'
Super fun.. the whole 5 days.
I'm attaching a pic of the main buildings. The one in the centre is the library ( see that trademark hole I was talking about?) which is four floors in area. It also has every ET paper since 1960 odd bound in books. In fact, a friend and I took out a paper dated Sunday May 2nd, 1965. 20 paise was the price then. Amazing how such information has been preserved.
The left side of the pic is the MDP (Mgmnt Development Program) block while the one on the right is the Classroom block.
