Today was hospital number.. err.. well.. 25 odd I think. As I sat in the chair facing the purchase executive, there came that familiar question I'd heard 2 weeks back -
"What's this whole research objective again?"she said, shooting me a suspicious glance. "Why such a specific topic ?"
This time an answer came to me. Instantly.
"Well, I'm focusing on this particular product while two of my colleagues from class are surveying ventilators and monitors respectively. It's a collective research initiative. And of course, our respondents are promised complete confidentiality at all times."
It provided a seamless flow to the interview. She nodded and went back to the documents. I felt damn good. It was spontaneous but it helped. More importantly, it made some sense to the officer.
I'm not seasoned yet. Just better informed & armed with a measure of the right lingo.
