Strong and unruffled by the most ferocious, towering monsters they stand their ground with a smile to offer in the slimmest chances of survival -- the most fearless men to have ever lived. The Spartans.
A sample of the population is clearly illustrated (pun intended) in the movie 300. I heard lots about the movie from friends and colleagues. Having read the TIME review a few months ago had added to my curiosity levels.
The animation sequences were smooth. In my opinion, it was more of the landscape and peripherals that were worked on, at least it seemed so to the naked eye. The only obvious part would be the gushing blood during the war. What I really liked about the film were the choice of colours - primarily red, black, grey and brown. King Leonidas, (Gerard Butler) was a superbly cast character - a perfect leader and an apt projection of the Greek race's personality. The screenplay was reminiscent of the Matrix series with the sudden "pause and play" movement during the fight scenes.
Good flick.
