7th Heaven

With time at hand, you pick up the unit from its place and pull out the wooden box from its casing. You run your left hand along the neck and towards the headstock and feel for the tuners. Down comes the right hand and your palm rests comfortably on the bridge. Head down and looking up towards the headstock on your left, the plectrum slips in between the thumb and index finger as you reach towards your first strike - the high E.

Working your way up the string layout and down the pitch lane, it's only a matter of minutes before the unit is in sync with your hums. All six are now in tune. Placing your ear as close to the hole as possible you ring out a test riff.

The crisp and clear sound of your acoustic guitar fills the room, and the foot tapping joins in as the fingers glide their way across the fretboard. Eyes closed and ears fed with the most beautiful notes produced by a priceless vintage Reynolds, I know I'm there.
