Today was my first day home after only 10 odd days. Feels more like 2-3 weeks.
There is no place like home. Cliched as it may sound, reiterating the same for those who can relate to the new life is well worth a mention. Either way you just read these lines so it doesn't matter now.
I went down for a walk in the neighbourhood. I met an old friend. I ran a few errands downstairs but that's ok. It was good to be back. There were plenty of Diwali shoppers in the market. The usual - window shopping their eyes out and buying nothing. The familiarity of the pedestrian hustle-bustle eased in after a long time. Cars honking, ricks prodding for revenue generators and the most amazing part - that of ... well.. leave it be tonight.
