The leisure room at work is located on the first floor and for some peculiar reason, is devoid of the central AC that satiates the rest of the office space in the building. With this outcome, it only follows that most wouldnt bother hanging around in there. It ain't cool enough either - a rather blatant pink and fluorescent green layout of bean bags is subtly harmful to the eye.
Still, within those four walls there's a cozy library shelf with a 100 odd books. A desktop computer sits idle in a corner and a blue velvet chair by its side. Roller wheels enabled. Significant items encompassing the walls (well they're all wall mounted objects) are a bongo, tambourine and a small sized guitar that doesn't have a very impressive E string.
I've taken down the guitar thrice. Out of tune each time I plucked it. Curious to know who tries his/her hand at it. Would be nice to have a jam session. It's been a while since the last one. I can't quite get the feel for this instrument though. The E string is persistent in it's asynchronism, delinking the music into a disturbance. Today, I tried convincing myself about the sound output. I attempted "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" & "Off He Goes" - songs that are simple to play and pleasant to hear. It didn't sound that comforting though. Good guitars will always exhibit some vital tinge of emotion or feel to the sounds they produce. This one lacks it.

I don't like strumming on this piece. I want one. I need mine.

A very apt & interesting title for the write-up! You could try carrying your guitar along the next time you are staying long in another city..:)
